Terms and Conditions

You are contracting with Dahlia & Rose (D&R) to produce a unique handmade product involving the use of plant material. Please be aware that each product will be distinct from your original fresh floral bouquet and may undergo changes in color, texture, and appearance during the preservation process, including potential bruises, translucent spots, and bubbles. Different flower varieties react differently to the drying process, and thus, you acknowledge that different flowers in your bouquet can look different once preserved. Flowers may shift within the resin, and these variations are natural and unavoidable.

  1. Responsibility for Pre-Dried Flowers:
If you provide pre-dried flowers, D&R cannot be held responsible for any mold, rot, or hairs that may be visible or develop during the preservation process. It is essential to ensure that flowers are fully dried and free of moisture before sending them.
  2. Moisture in Flowers:
Flowers with residual moisture cannot be successfully preserved. Please ensure that all flowers sent to us are completely dry to avoid issues with preservation.
  3. Refrigerated or Frozen Flowers:
Flowers that have been refrigerated or frozen may contain rot or mold, resulting in an unsatisfactory product. We recommend sending only fresh, properly handled flowers to ensure the best results.
  4. Refusal of Damaged or Wilted Flowers:
D&R reserves the right to refuse the preservation of flowers that arrive damaged or wilted. In such cases, we will not be responsible for returning the damaged flowers. However, we may offer to source replacement flowers to closely match your original arrangement for an additional cost. If you are interested in this service, please contact us to arrange.
  5. Liability for Loss or Damage:
D&R is not responsible for any loss or damage to products caused by events beyond our control, including Acts of God affecting the shipper or D&R. We are also not liable for any issues related to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
  6. Natural Changes in Resin:
Resin naturally yellows slightly over time. It is advisable to avoid placing your resin pieces in direct sunlight to prevent accelerating this process. These changes are part of the natural preservation process, and D&R assumes no liability for these effects.
  7. Turnaround Time and Refunds:
Our standard turnaround time for custom orders is up to 6 months. If a custom order exceeds 12 months due to circumstances within our control, you may be eligible for a full refund.
  8. Use of Photographs:
D&R reserves the right to photograph and use images of all products for marketing purposes, including social media and advertisements. By placing an order, you consent to the use of these images without further notification or compensation.
  9. Right to Cancel Orders:
D&R reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion if we believe the client-business relationship is not a suitable fit. In such cases, we will provide a full refund.
  10. Liability for Injuries:
D&R is not liable for any injuries related to the use of our products. We adhere to all relevant safety standards, but please follow all care instructions provided.
  11. Care Instructions:
Resin pieces, including tables, should not be placed directly on hot items. Our resin products are intended for display purposes only. Please follow the care instructions provided to maintain the integrity and appearance of your product.
